Mack Air Launches a Massive Brand Refresh

The 26th of January, 2018 marked a new exciting milestone for Mack Air as it unveiled an unprecedented brand refresh. The recent rebrand has prompted a positive bounce for the already popular GSA’s brand image.

The new Mack Air logo, with its vibrant red and blue colors, endeavors to place its brand in the hearts of its people and clients and let its personality shine through.

The GSA aims to build the brand loyalty in its employees as well as clients. Everything that’s seen by the public is part of the effort, which will emphasize the company’s will to strive for excellence and the hospitality of its employees.

Mack Air has long pitched its customer service, and the company will continue to tout that. But the new push aims to raise that bar by drawing in the clients as a powerful GSA in the country.

The rebrand is a chance both to showcase the rich service quality available across Sri Lanka and to drive the company forward.

Commenting on this, Mack Air Chief Executive Officer, Anil Bandara said, “Our human capital is the most vital element of our company and I was delighted to see many employees, so closely involved with the rebrand exercise.

Rebranding means much more than a new logo. It’s a chance to communicate our purpose and our values. It’s an opportunity to understand how we are perceived, and build on those perceptions to present a strong, unique identity.

We have always had a strong brand and we have had plenty to work with, but we wanted make sure we protect the brand and treat it in the right way going forward.”

Addressing the gathering, the Head of Airlines, Shaminda Fernando said, “Watching and guiding the new brand as it evolved from research into the final product has been a thoroughly interesting and enjoyable experience. The need to collaborate more, both within our own organization and externally, is a key element of Mack Air’s strategic direction and an important driver for our rebrand.

Equipped with the latest ISO Standard, 9001:2015, we’re working to offer excellent services to our clients, develop our human capital – our very own employees who have essentially become the identity of our company-our DNA, and enhance the knowledge of aviation in our community. Embracing these changes is an exciting opportunity and we need a brand that conveys that excitement. One that builds on our values and our heritage, but looks to the future.”
